OMC offers full service
drug testing on a national and international basis.
All OMC physicians
are Certified Medical Review Officers. OMC began providing MRO services
in 1988. In 1990 and 1991, OMC was requested to work with the DOT
to participate in the random roadside project in which we provided
DOT with MRO services for the States of New Jersey and Minnesota.
With strict regulatory compliance, superior customer service and

entity of the practice with its own full time staff. The medical

Department
of Transportation Exams

OMC provides physical
examinations for all branches of the Department of Transportation
in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
DOT (driver qualification
exams) exams are provided in OMC’s office or are available
onsite at company locations. On-site examinations are scheduled
through the OMC lab with a one month minimum lead time to accommodate
scheduling of the physician and nursing staff out of the clinic.
On location DOTS can be provided in greater Minnesota, Wisconsin,
North Dakota and South Dakota. Pricing is based on volume and distance
from the Minneapolis-St. Paul clinic.

FAA
Exams
Our AME certified
physicians provide First, Second and Third class FAA exams. OMC
has on-line service with the FAA in Oklahoma City for convenience
in transmission of exam results. Additionally OMC has a FAA HIMS
medical monitor to consult with pilots on substance abuse issues.
As a medical monitor your OMC physician can also assist and facilitate
FAA medical certificates through consultation with the FAA Certification
Medical Administration Institute (CAMI) in Oklahoma.

Injured
Worker Care
While occupational
medicine solutions are best focused on injury prevention, OMC provides
full and complete injured worker care. OMC physicians are Board
Certified in occupational medicine. Our philosophy emphasizes early
intervention, early return to work. By working with the company
to maximize employee workability and keep the employee in the work
environment we aid in minimizing/eliminating lost time. Our philosophy
of a high standard of care, communication with the employer and
focus on maximum effort return to work serves to enhance the progress
of the employees’ ultimate workability.

Pre-Placement
Exams
OMC physician performed
pre-placement medical exams provide a high level assessment of the
employment candidate’s workability while complying with State
and Federal Regulations including the ADA. Whether for private industry,
Police, Firefighters, Government Agencies or the Military OMC physician
examinations provide a comprehensive health history review and physical
assessment to determine the fitness of the individual candidate
to fulfill the essential function(s) of the job.

Medical Examinations (IME) & Fitness for Duty exams
OMC provides fitness
for duty exams and IME’s in its areas of expertise including
deposition and expert testimony locally and nationally. Fitness
for duty exams are utilized to clarify workability.

Ergonomic
Consulting
OMC physicians are
active in ergonomic consultation. For over twenty years work site
and work station assessment services have been available and utilized
by many OMC company clients. Consultation has been provided to major
corporations/industry wide from electronics, food prep and distribution,
materials handling to service related industry. OMC physicians have
taught ergonomics at the University level in the United States,
Europe, Africa and Asia. In addition, OMC physicians participate
on International Standard Organization committees with special expertise

Environmental
Health
OMC physicians have
additional training at the Masters level on Environmental Health
issues, holding Masters Degrees in Public Health (MPH). Dr. Jetzer
taught at the graduate level at the University of Minnesota in the
School of Public Health.
OMC provides consultation
services and periodic surveillance and Hazmat exams in accordance
with all regulations. We provide consultation and program management
for Hearing Conservation, Respirator Surveillance, HazMat, Blood
borne and Airborne pathogen. These examinations can be performed
at the OMC primary clinic location or on site at the company location.
Immunizations and testing are part of the on site services.

Directorship
OMC physicians provide
Medical Directorship services on a consultative basis to a significant
number of Fortune 500 companies. Such medical directorship arrangements
have the advantage of providing a full range of occupational health
services and onsite consultation(s) without having to establish
a physician employment relationship.

at all levels of corporate health policy decision-making.

and Nurse On Site Services
For those clients
with sufficient need, on site regular or periodic physician/nurse/technician
services are provided enabling the company to keep the employees
at the work site while minimizing time away from the actual job.
Such services include but are not limited to: injured worker care,
injured worker case management consultation, immunization, hearing
testing, respirator qualification and Haz-Mat exams and periodic
DOT exams.
